Technical Process Of Making Custom Food Paper

Pulping

We purchase FSC approved wooden blocks of highest quality. The wooden blocks are cut down into tiny pieces of wood and then mixed with wood. Then apply chemicals into it to make a strong base of wood sheets. The chemicals used by us are sodium hydroxide (NaOH), Sodium Sulfide (Na2S).

Sheet Formation

The wet pulp is put upon the sheet to make it completely dried. We separate lignin from cellulose fiber. The sheets are passed through a roller to make it free from water. Bleached pulp is completely pressed to achieve required thickness.

Coating

When sheet formation is completed the coating process is applied to make it heat resistant and moisture resistant. The coating ensures that food is fresh and soggy. We apply different coating procedures to make it high quality printed paper. The procedure of coating is Dip coating, Wax coating, Aqueous coating, polyethylene coating.

Final Process

After coating is applied the paper becomes cool and ready for cutting. The paper sheets are cut down as per your required dimensions.
