Wood Preparation & Chipping

The manufacturing process of deli wax paper sheets starts by taking the wood from an FSC-certified forest. The outer layer of this wood is removed by adopting the mechanical process. After removing the outer layer of wood, the wood is cut into small wooden chips.

Pulping & Lignin Separation

These wooden chips are mixed with chemicals and heated at a high temperature. By heating, the lignin is dissolved in the mixture, and the pure pulp is separated from it.

Washing & Refining

This mixture is now washed to remove all impurities and dissolved lignin. After the removal of impurities, the slurry of pulp is refined to enhance fiber bonding.

Web Formation & Drying

Now, the slurry of pulp is spread over the moving mesh, where dryer machines remove water and moisture from it. These wet sheets are passed through a series of steam-heated cylinders where they are pressed gently to remove the remaining water and moisture. After drying, they are passed through the heated rollers, which make their surface smooth and uniform.

Wax Coating & Custom Printing

After preparing the surface of the sheets, the wax, such as paraffin, microcrystalline, soy, or bees wax, is used to coat the surface of the sheet. Once the surface of the sheet becomes ready, the printing process takes place. We used food-safe inks such as water, soy, and vegetable-based inks for printing and designing custom deli paper or custom burger paper. We used a hot air dryer to dry the inks from the surface of the sheets.

Cutting, Quality Control & Packaging

After drying, the large, highly precise blades are used to cut the sheets into custom sizes as per client demand. The quality control department, where all the features such as heat, oil, grease resistance, and quality of print are tested, after passing the test, these custom sheets are packed and labelled for shipment.
